Iran's finished steel consumption rose by 5% y-o-y to 10.2 mnt in the first half of current Persian year (21 Mar-20 Sep'23), according to latest data released by the Iranian Steel Producers Association (ISPA). Consumption of flat steel increased by 9.2% y-o-y to 4.95 mnt, while that of long steel remained largely stable at 5.09 mnt.
